G4 933, OS 10.4.11
Got the "spinning clock" (not the colorful beach ball) trying to
boot. Finally, after many hours - got to boot off the 10.4 disk.
Disk Utility found errors and couldnt repair it (can not unmount
disk, invalid node structure, failed rebuilding b-tree, and "The
underlying task reported failure on exit". Tech tool found errors
and couldnt repair it. Onyx does not work on a different drive -
only the one that is mounted? OWC says to contact Seagate. Any
ideas before I pull it out and condemn it? Should I bother to re-
format the disk? Thank YOU Carbon Copy Cloner - you saved my
behind. I had a 3 day old copy on another drive!
