Yes, I simply set the router to the randomly generated SSID, then save the router's configuration. The WiFi cards in my Macks then see that SSID (and the others in the immediate area) and I select my own. The other SSIDs in the immediate area usually read "Linksys" or "236 West Street" or something like that.
