At the time of that Mac, the most powerful graphic cards were - AFAIK - these: - Radeon 9800 - Geforce Titanium 4600 and 4800 (not MX). You should find them relatively cheap now. I had a GF Ti 4600 128MB in my PowerMac G4 DA 1.4GHz, and it worked very good. I run things like Halo, Doom 3, realMYST, NOLF 1 and 2, at 1024x768 or 1280x960... ok, Doom 3 was somehow choppy, but still playable. I'm selling it now, but I'm in Italy, so if you're in the USA shipping would be expensive. Then there was a faster generation, like Radeon x800 and GeForce 6800, but I'm not sure about compatibility with your Mac. If you're adventurous :-) you might consider getting a PC card and flashing it for the Mac; have a look here: http://themacelite.wikidot.com/start -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
