Hi all need some assistance with this one . specs are G4 700 emac, 640 mb ram, 80 gb hdd, dvd rw, airport , Os 10.3.9 fully updated
The mac was working fine until it was shelved 6 months ago. due to a bad case of dropped mac book the emac has been brought out of storage to use but when switching on it is just showing a flashing folder / question mark . when trying to boot from dvd/cd nothing happens holding down the key to select the hdd for boot gives me a blue screen with a padlock and a long bar no hdd are seen or selectable and no dvd's or cd's either any help is gladly accepted -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
