I can say the same about my G4s. All are still in use and working
perfectly. I have an upgraded Smurf at one of my elementary schools,
and an upgraded Yikes! at another. In my home I am running a DA Dual
1.53 Mhz G4 and have been able to run my music notation software
without ANY issues.
My only complaint is with streaming video, like HBOGO. Motion is not
smooth enough.
All of my G4s are running Tiger. (10.4.11)
Larry
I have used my 2002 Quicksilver G4 (867 MHz, Mac OS X 10.5.8)
everyday for about the past 9 years.
It does everything I need -- e-mail, web browsing, music, video and
photography.
I use NeoOffice as my document processor, presentation maker, and for
spreadsheets.
I am quite happy with it!

Hello everyone!
Hi would like to know if someone here still uses his Powermac g4,
I have a g4 quicksilver (733mhz, 630mb ram) that i still use (and
love) today for web browsing, web administration and youtube, it works
very well with 10.4.11.
I'm writing this because a friend said i was "crazy" just beacuse i
use such an old mac for the "everyday use".
So does anyone here is still using his old trusty G4?
PS: Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian.
