I picked up a emac 1.25Ghz G4, usb 2.0 , combodrive 2004 model off the street nature stripe for free.
Its amazing what people throw out on nature strip. Its works i wiped the hard drive reinstall mac os x 10.4 Specs it has 40gb hard drive, 1gb of ram it came with the machine that means it cheaper than memory upgrade. People leave personal files and passwords on second hand macs so always wipe the hard drive install fresh os. The combo drive dousn't open properly the drive get stucks and it dousn't open properly with the drive bezel. Emacs are fairly usable but there tastless and expansion free compared to powermacs. There hard to upgrade you have to discharge the screen to replace the disk drives.
