My G4 MDD 1.25 was 295 watts. My PPC G5 dual 2.7 averages 410 watts and my Mac Pro is 98 watts both doing the same work most of the time, however the G5's are much faster then the G4's. The G5's with the fans running most of the time suck up a lot of juice.
