Some newer clothes dryers come with a sweater rack that clips into the dryer without tumbling. When my wife spilled water on her Dell laptop I opened it up and placed it on the dryer rack at a low setting for a couple of hours. I figured it was safe enough for wool sweaters so it should be OK for a laptop. Might be a little safer than the oven.
