Rumours have circulated and no one has ever produced this code. There
are some minor patches that have gotten partially through the boot
process, but none that work in any meaningful capacity in my
experience.
I believe the necessary mod would be to the ROM "file" in OS 9 rather
than the ROM firmware of the Mac.
