I may indeed be younger than that now, but unfortunately my eyes are not nearly as hip. This is why mail should be plain text! Second, you can burn them on the system but not play them back?? That's definitely odd. What are the exact errors you get with DVD Player? Third.ly, you should be able to simply use VLC to play the ripped files proicuced by Mac the Ripper, and not bother with the whole burning process at all.
