OT slightly- Trinitron blemish on CRT will not clean up Using my G4 with an older CRT display Sony Trinitron Multiscan G500, I notice stuff on the screen that suggests it is simply dirty, but cleaning does not work. I also notice that the image (like the arrow) is clearly 1/4" on the other side of a thick piece of glass, because I can move my head and see that the stuff is on this side of the glass.
Is this a protective glass that has somehow gotten dirty? I was under the impression we are looking as the actual CRT glass of the tube and no removable glass existed. I may be wrong? The picture is beautiful, but the stuff, grey smudges are annoying when you look closely. Any suggested cleaners? jml "I'm a designated FREE SPIRIT HITCHHIKING on the Information Super Highway" ======================================================================= -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
