Vectorworks is my choice but it ain't cheap.

I first used it when it was named MiniCAD and it worked very much like MacDraw 
and was vastly superior to ClarisDraw or MacDraw II.  Since then it has been 
overtaken by the architects and it's 3D capabilities are really good.  Version 
12, NOT 2012, runs on my G4 and there ave versions for the newest Macs. An 
older version might be affordable if it can be found.
