FYI,

i'm getting good speeds on the download ... so maybe i wasnt properly setting the compression on the upload and it was always at max compression?

Looking at the in-program help display and the online FAQ i noticed something:

the online page says you set the gzip compression by using GZIP=-# .. in case its hard to see there's a minus sign between the number sign and equal.

The in program help does not show a minus sign. I never used a minus sign. I just used GZIP=1 or GZIP=0 (since i thought zero would be no compression). So maybe thats why it seemed so slow. Right now its downloading at 11.5 and before it was uploading at 1.5

Then again, is it quicker to uncompress something then it is to compress it?

Ian
