I'm going to replace a drive which has some unreadable sectors, so some
blocks will be bad - I'd like to just clone the failing drive to the
replacement and then restore the files with missing blocks. Will g4u cope
with this?

For example, when tar encounters these bad blocks it seems to just pad out
with zeroes - which is great. Does g4u do the same?
