Ok, please try http://www.feyrer.de/g4u/g4u-2.3alpha3.iso and let me know if that recognizes the disk properly. It's g4u based on latest NetBSD-current sources, which should have the latest fixes for that. The kernel in that version does have ACPI, which seems to have issues in qemu and on my home PC wrt. the PS/2 keyboard not working.
