Hubert,
I've got it working with ProFTPD for 2 years now! I was wondering why
it's not in the list on your site. It wasn't the ProFTP service that
caused the kernelpanic, but some other program on the same server.
ProFTPD even works "out of the box" no configuration needed (after
"apt-get install proftpd"), so I think it deserves to be on the list! :)
