Here is the log I have: ifconfig -m Re0

Flags: "same"
Capabilities: "same"
Address: "same"
Media : Ethernet autoselect (100BaseTX Full duplex)
Status : active
Support Ethernet media :
        Media none
                10BaseT
                10BaseT mediaopt full duplex
                100BaseT
                100BaseT mediaopt full duplex
                1000BaseT
                1000BaseT mediaopt full duplex
                Autoselect
Inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0xff000000 BROADCAST 255.255.255.255

I don't think there's something wrong with the switch as I have a lot of
workstation on it. And with the other model of workstation, G4U is
working fine.

I'm using the latest version 3.2
The mother board is a ASUS P5B-VM

I'll be happy to help you with making your application working with lot
of hardware.
But don't worry too much about my pb. I found another solution to deal
with massive installation.

Thanks,
Cyril

The MAC address looks ok, so the card seems to play with the driver in
general. Status: "no carrier" may hint that there's some autonegotiation

trouble or so. Try "ifconfig -m" and see what media options there are.
Maybe you also need to check your switch to see what autonegotiation
settings there are, and in the worst case hardwire them to something
that
works for you. Good luck!
