Hello all, I'm tech support/repair tech for my company, and rightfully so,
they want to isolate our repairs from our production network. Personally, i'd
like to see the repair network run by *NIX/BSD servers as opposed to
Microshaft software we run for everything else. Since they're going to be
isolating us from the server we use for Norton Ghost, I'm looking to set up a
FreeNAS server to serve all our hard drive images and drivers/etc. The only
fly in the ointment is the restriction on FreeNAS's FTP server which does not
allow me to set custom login directories despite manualy setting the paths in
the passwd files. All FTP access logs directly to the /mnt directory, so
there isn't actually any storage media to hold the images.

All i really need to know then is how do i get G4U to automaticly change
directories once it's logged into the FTP server. I've tried appending the
path onto the end of the server address and putting it in front of the file
name. Neither has worked. This, unfortunately, is holding me back from
deploying a nice sleek solution to avoid the M$ bloat they want me to use.

Is there an easy fix and i've just missed it, or am i going to have to start
looking in another direction?

Thanks in advance
