I used the floppy version yesterday. I cloned an old Dell Optiplex that I plan to make some changes to I may need to back out of.
Here's a quick question. I slaved in an exact model disk and did a copydisk. When I booted on the copy Windows2000 server popped up a window saying that new hardware had been installed and asked if I wanted to reboot. Is that normal? Does windows really know it's a different harddrive even if it's the same exact manufacturer, model, and size?
