Ok spent a whole day compiling g4u 2.4 alpha2, the serial port was
disabled - duh! On my machine, the compilation finished successfully
except failure making the iso image. The floppy images were ok however,
so all is fine.

As a side note; the pxeboot_ia32.bin has a long delay -more than a
minute- to load, not sure if this normal. And might I suggest making
userconf available?

Anyway g4u runs fine on Soekris 5501. Great software - thanks!
