Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: segfault Group: v1.5.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Chris Garrison (ecgarrison) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: GAIM crashes on Jabber over TLS open Initial Comment: So I've been happily using GAIM for a couple of years on Linux and Windows (when I must). Last week, GAIM v1.5.0-11.el3 (which is what up2date for RHEL3 serves up) stopped working for me. I use GAIM to Jabber to co-workers, and so GAIM is set to auto-login to that. When it does, BOOM it just crashes instantly. I narrowed it down to Jabber by editing the xml file to turn off all auto-logins and started each protocol up one at a time. So now I'm forced to run WinXP in a VM and run GAIM there, which works but is not convenient. I've seen other GAIM + Jabber = Crash messages in the past week, so I am not alone here. Any chance of some help? If you need more information from me, please let me know, I'll be glad to help. I can be reached at ecgarrison on Yahoo IM or by email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks!
