Summary: clicking links gives error

Initial Comment:
I've been using gaim with no bugs for the last 9 or so months up until last
month. Now about half the time I click on a link in gaim, gaim itself gives an
error that says "Windows cannot find 'http://www.blahblah.com'. Make sure you
typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the
Start button, and then click Search." After giving this error the link then
opens in the internet browser anyway, but gaim stays frozen and unuseable until
I click Okay in the error window. This doesn't happen every time but roughly
half the time when I click a link. I was using 2.0.0 beta 3 and then tried
upgrading to beta 6 once I started getting this error, and the error is present
in this version as well.

Your browser must not be set up correctly.

Switch your default browser to something else and then switch it back.

This error has nothing to do with gaim specifically - gaim is just asking
Windows to open the URL and Windows is saying "U can't".
