Not the regular file transfers themselves, but when you are using the direct IM feature you never know when something is coming such as a picture or sound. Also, it would be cool to have sounds play in the background when a .wav is sent, such as the regular AIM does. And you could even have an option to turn this off so sound files don't play automatically when they are sent, but have it on by default. My friend and I use the Direct IM feature a lot with regular AIM to send sounds and pictures, and the limited Direct IM features on GAIM are all that really keep me from using it as my main client. Sorry if this was already requested in the past, or is an upcoming feature, I didn't see it.
