If turned on, the buddy in question would always be shown in the list, even if its status is offline and "show offline buddies" ("Buddies" menu in the GTK client) is turned off. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2007-04-09 21:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 Originator: NO As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: DBDigital (dbdigital) Date: 2007-01-31 10:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1590712 Originator: NO You can do this with a Guifications plugin. Get their plugin pack and the plug in question is called "showoffline.dll" in the zip. http://gaim.guifications.org/trac/downloads I have found that on jabber it sometimes does not show unless you have "show empty groups" on. But it works fine for other IM protocols, at least so far in my testing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350235&aid=1646467&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
