The 'rendering' message never goes away then? Are you able to open a javascript console and try to reload the page then re-render the plot? (You can access the console in Firefox by using the menu: Tools->Web Developer-> Web console. In Chrome, it's View-> Developer-> Javascript console.)
Do you see any output or errors when the console is turned on and the you've reloaded and re-rendered? Which version of Galaxy are you using?
