Hi,
I hope that like the beta max and vhs problem, people will pick one voice
chat program and it will be compatible on all platforms and have all the
accessibility features we need.
After installing and learning six different chat programs I think I reached
my limit and my hard drive's capacity.

Yes I meant if iPods were accessible and of course iTunes that would go a
long way to me getting a Mac.
I heard that iPods have the capacity for speech since they run on a slim
down OS 10,
and Apple is beta testing one right now.
My original Apple was an Apple 2e which could play all the games the sighted
world produced since in the beginning there were no such things as graphics!
The only problem is that 25 years ago, speech synthesizers were also very
crude, even worse then Microsoft Sam!
smiles,
Phil
