You cannot burn ps3 disks. The disks are different file processors.

The distribution of Linux would not matter. All of the stuff kernel, 
libraries, etc is typically identical. The only question would be 
version matching.
I would suspect Sony would be adding some specialised tools for the 
games, and and special libs that would be specific to their console. I
don't get why you would think you would need sound cards, speakers, 
and screen readers. It is game console. It hooks up to your tv. The 
speakers are your tv or stereo system.
 Any games written for the PS3 could be written on a native linux pc, 
and ported to the Ps 3 by burning to disk where the Ps3 would run them.
