Part of the challenge of a text adventure is figuring out what will, and discovering through frustration what will not, work as a direction on what action to take. How many times have you typed a direction only to hear something like "I don't understand that." or a "What?" or something like that. You won't have this challenge or frustration with Chillingham. So, text adventure with your own words?, or courses of action using a menu of predetermined choices of action. I prefer the first choice I present.
