Hi, Nicol.
Your game idea sounds very similar to the Colleco classic game mouse 
trap.  In that game you had to walk your mouse through a maze collecting 
keys, cheese, and other items. Mean while there were three or four cats 
trying to find you and eat you.
That wasa game I really enjoyed. It was cute, but it also was 
challenging as well.
