Hi Mark, The catalogue does say it's magnetic, I wonder whether you can feel the squares, probably, if it's sold by a place that makes products for blind people. Couldn't you or someone in the UK actually go and have a look at this set? I might buy it for my birthday, but I wonder whether it's a risk, I don't think so, I'll take it. One thing I'd like to know is, apart from Hadley School, which I don't want to do, is their anywhere I can get braille books which explain the rules of chess and the braille notation. I know the RNIB has an explanation of the braille chess code, but I don't know how much it is. I only know the moves of chess, and I don't even know if, once I learn some strategies, if I'll enjoy it. With me only knowing the moves, I get beaten everytime by chess programs and people, really doesn't do much for a guy's liking of the game! Ari
