Hi Allan, No, I wasn't taking in to account crew proformence. After all proformence really will come from the player. Your command decisions and skills as a weapons officer will come in to heavy play here. Especially, if we will be using different styles of classes. A Sovereign-Class is obviously the choice if you want maximum fire power in a fight and little else. An Intrepid-Class Explorer can holds it's own in a fight, but speed is her clame to fame. Defiant-Class has good firepower, but speed and stelth are critical keys to that class. The Excelsior-Class has average firepower, but is slow in a fight. We can go on and on, and your command decisions might be effected under those conditions. If you are using a class such as Intrepid or Saber-Class where ammo is a premium you best conserve ammo until you need it. With Excelsior-Class and Sovereign-Classes have the ammo, but not the speed.
