Hi Dave,
Putting preasure on the owner of the proxy won't help, because those
proxies are in country where you don't have to give out this
information. And most of the proxy owners turn off the creation of
logfiles or reset them every x hours, so they probably don't have the
correct IP anymore. So the chance to find the person who really was
behind the attack is very low. However you can block the IP range of
that isp then.
