The best place to sell weapons is Graldock. You still don't always get what the weapons are worth, but you get real close. However, there is a quest I wonder if you've completed. You get a thousand gold for completing it, and that would obviously cover your expenses. It's the adventure entitled "The Old Cathedral" in Mirgspil. It's fun, it's cool, and there are undead in it. What more could you ask for? Haha.
