you don't get muds anywhere. Muds are servers that you connect to, either through a mud client such as GMud or MonkeyTerm, or directly through the standard windows telnet program. A great source for muds is the mudconnector http://www.mudconnector.com where there are literally thousands of muds you can look through to see which ones would suit your needs. There are muds from everything ranging to standard medieval to futuristic scifi type muds and everything in between. If you were going to go with a mud client, I personally would recommend GMud because it's got relatively good scripts from what I've heard. But MonkeyTerm is also good as well.
