Hi All, have just started reading the docs for the Direct X SDK
and have a question.

Under 3D sound generation, the docs say that direct sound can have only one
listener object. If I'm reading this correctly, in order to create an
online virtual environment, would I then need to write a bit of code that
would work with each virtual listener on the client side and process it on
the server side to move each listener in relation to each
other? <smile> I know this sort of seems obvious, but I'm looking for a
few tips / tricks here to make it a bit less dicey. as my work with Quake
has been specific to the Quake engine server / client side code in QC so I
need to get a feel for the Direct X style of doing things.

Thanks so much and also, if anyone has any good sources of starting
material on this subject aside from the Direct X docs themselves, it would
be greatly appreciated.

Have an awesome evening All! and catch ya on the flip!!!...

Smiles,

Cara
