Hi

I think the 3rd would b the best out of the 3. Like u said the 1st u
would have 2 go through all the games that u wouldn't care 4 just 2 find the
ones u would play. The 2nd is not a bad idear, but the 3rd 1 will make it
easyer 4 people 2 find what they wont. 4 exsampal I don't have a iphone so
if I'm looking 4 a game and I can go by platform and then tipe that would
take a lot of the guess work out of it 4 me. That is just my thoughts on
that idear.

Subject: [Audyssey] Organizing teh Audyssey Database

Hello all,

Today or tomorrow I want to begin working on the Audyssey games database,
and I was wondering how you all think I should organize and arrange the
games and developers. There are many ways to do this so I thought I would
throw a few suggestions out here and gather your input.

The first way I could organize the database is by developer. I could have a
list of developers such as BSC Software, GMA Games, PCs Games, Blind
Adrenaline, etc and below that heading all the games they have produced. Of
course, the problem with that method is if you are looking for a certain
type of game it is difficult to find or locate without going through and
each and every game on the site.

The second method is to organize games by type or genre. I could have
various categories such as action, strategy, card games, puzzle games, etc.
I think this would be a more acceptable method for organizing the games on
the site as you could go directly to the section that was of interest and
skip those sections that weren't of any interest.

The third option is similar to the second accept instead of just being
divided by genre they could also be divided up by platform such as Mac OS,
Windows, Linux, and iOS. Under those headings would be subheadings such as
action, strategy, card, puzzle, whatever. Any thoughts here?

Cheers!
