Once you touch on the screen toward the bottom, and it says ‘touch here”, turn
your rotor to handwriting. Once VO says handwriting, anything you write on the
screen will be interpreted as handwriting. You must shake your phone to start
the tutorial. While in handwriting mode, you have to use a three-finger flick
up or down to choose between, uppercase, lowercase and numbers. If you try to
write something and you’re in the wrong mode, the tutorial will tell you.
You’ll know when the tutorial has begun if you start hearing a description of
the movements for writing letters.
If at any point you want to stop, just turn your rotor back to characters and
switch tabs.
