Yes, everything should work correctly. If not, then you may need to try installing the Japanese language pack through windows update or the app store, depending on which version you're using. And last, try switching your system locale to Japanese to see if the game works. I have no problems with these games because I have my computer set to have a Japanese locale, and that hasn't screwed anything up that I can't fix.
