Correct. Tomb Hunter is an original work, not anything like the game
Montezuma's Revenge I purchased from Alchemy, and in that light I hold
any and all copyrights to the game, characters, sounds, etc. If
someone modifies my work I will seriously be upset, and may choose to
take legal action.

I don't think some gamers realize that writing a game is a bit like
creating a piece of art. The author reserves the right to make it the
way he or she likes, to make money off their own creations, and
sometimes having other people messing around in their game world
introduces elements or ideas that are outside of the author's original
concept which makes it offensive and upsetting to the original
creator.
