Exactly. As much as I love Jim's games I'm not willing to stick with the security holes in older systems just to play them.

Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Hi Bryan,

I am pretty sure we aren't too far from that eventuality. The worst
part of it is I am pretty sure I know what we will hear from the
majority of blind gamers. Just go back to Windows XP, use it in a VM,
whatever and don't upgrade to the new version of Windows.
Unfortunately, just because user x won't give XP up does not mean the
rest of us have that option. I'm a developer and I like to stay up to
date with technology so just hanging on to XP for 100 years just isn't
acceptable.

As for Montezuma's Revenge the4 cease and desist order definitely did
not help matters. If I had been more aware of what I was doing legally
back then I could have gotten out of it or avoided the problem in the
first place. A classic case of live and learn at work.

Cheers!

The sad part is sooner or later a version of Winblows is bound to come along

where we won't be able to get VB6 programs to run no matter what we try.
Unfortunately that will mean we won't be able to play Jim's games. So if you

had stuck with VB6 we would be screwed sooner or later. And te cease and
desist letter you got, whether prank or legit, didn't help either.
