Hi Kelly, No, you don't have to shutdown Window-Eyes with games. Just create a custom set file for the game in question and set the speech to off for that specific application. Perhaps I should write up a quick tutorial on this as I believe a lot of VI users will want to try the Window-Eyes for Office with games as it is practically free for anyone with Office 2010 and higher.
