never had a windows update do that but there is an update aparently
you should have uninstalled obviously thats not a solution last I
heard about that there was something being worked out ms likes changing things.
Thank god i have win7 32 bit with uac off.

If what I suggested earlier isn't working, it's possible (especially
if you're using windows 8) that new Microsoft security patches are
interfering with the game. Putting your screen reader to sleep for
the tks application. I'll notify Aaron in case he has other
suggestions.
