Hi Lucky,
The key to defeating the Drake is to neutralize or minimize the
Drake's attacks while getting a few hits in of your own. For example,
if you have any scrolls now is the time to use them. If you can cast a
sleep scroll on him you can put the Drake out for a couple of turns
while you get some hits in. Basically, use magic when and where you
can because often times you can make his attacks less effective.
another key to killing the Drake is aim for the head. Don't bother
with his legs or tail. That will get you nowhere real fast. Make each
attack count. Target the head and keep inflicting damage until he
dies.
