Hi Lori, Yes. A 404 error means that the requested page is missing or can't be found. So simply put the link to the order page is broken because the requested page is unavailable for some reason.
As far as external drives goes I have had a lot of success with Sea Gate drives. I have never tried Sony's drives, and don't have en experience with them to form an opinion about them. All I do know is that generally speaking buying an external drive shouldn't cause any accessibility issues given that they should just show up in Windows Explorer or File Explorer as just any other drive. As far as your issue with sighted people not understanding accessibility I get that a lot, too. Fortunately, I don't have to deal with them much since I generally know what I am doing, and don't have to try and explain it to sighted people since I just do it myself. It sounds like you could use a general VI users list where you can ask technical questions and get more accessible help than you are getting at home.
