I would beg to differ on that. I'm not terribly fast with a slate, but with the labeler, you have to make sure each letter is centered just right, then press down on the trigger part. Then you have to hope that the label cuts properly, because sometimes they don't. Either that, or I've just had to use really crappy labelers. In my experience, the process is just as cumbersome as using a slate.
