With the labeler, all you have to do is to line the desired character up with a notch just in front of the wheel and squeeze the trigger. When you release the trigger, the tape advances into position to emboss the next character. Turn the wheel until the next desired character is lined up with the notch and repeat the procedure. If the cutter on the labeler doesn't cut well, use a pair of scissors. They are very easy to use. --- Be positive!
