No way! the world is far too full of "don't offend people" type of thoughts.
I just pointed out that if the scientist were a serious character discussed
in the way Tom discussed the matter seriously, it might be a little
worrying, however as a joke in the game it's no problem and there's no need
to make changes.
Really people take this "offense" nonsense too far much of the time, indeed
it sort of makes it difficult to say whether something really is! intended
to be offensive.
Besides, if taken seriously I don't think I'd want to shoot a gorilla
anymore than I'd want to shoot a traumatized person, ---- I've met and been
hugged by a real gorilla and it was fantastic (far nicer than most humans).
Beware the grue!
