Hi Anouk.

Unfortunately I've run into severe trouble with Astro alaxy, sinse I started trying to make my own way in the galaxy after finishing the tutorial but kept sending my ships out to explore signals or do combat missions and then not find anything, I'm a little unsure of where to go or how to progress from here, actually I'd like to post on the forum but there is an annoyingly inaccessible antispam.

I'll definitely give it another go though.

glad you like rise of chaos, as I said personal.y there just wasn't enough interest for me in the number crunching, I wanted propper exploring just like in ice and fire.

I do love the series, and have all the audios read by Roy Defreese as you said, including the history and background "world of ice and fire" that I just finished, which was awsome, --- albiet probably not everyone's cup of tea sinse I know not everyone has quite as inexhaustable an appetite for background information about the world and it's people's as I do.

All the best,

Dark.

Hey Dark,

(hurry up with book 6 already Martin and let it be like the first 3 ones). How are you faring with the galaxy exploring game you mentioned a while back on the forum?

Hi.

This was one that someone mentioned on the audiogames.net forum a while ago. I've given it a try, but I confess it's not really my thing, still it's very accessible.

You choose from one of a number of races with different bonuses, build an empire, explore land, develop technology, hier troops and fight other players. I will confess after reading the world of Ice and Fire by George R r Martin, I was looking for a game with that sort of feeling, a people exploring a vivid and savage world fighting the environment and their enemies with unexpected turns and events, monsters and wild lands to explore, not just another "who can grind the fastest" type of affair just like all the hundreds of other games of this type.

Still, if people want something purely for the stratogy this one might be interesting, particularly sinse you follow your empire's development through different ages, it just wasn't exactly what I wante d(though I don't think I've ever seen an accessible game that really was).
