You might try Materia Magica. It's not directly based on AD&D, because like Dennis said, those rules don't make for a great computer game. But we have the familiar fantasy settings of dragons and magic, warriors and quests. I'll don't know if Materia Magica will be sufficiently different from Alter Aeon to suit your mood, but it might be worth a try.
