Hi Austin,
The way I check to find out if a sound is looping correctly is to load it
into GoldWave.
Go to options,
down arrow to controls.
Hit enter.
Then down to device controls properties.
Use arro to choose selection, 2 of 6.
hit tab to
looped
and check it with space bar if it is not checked.
tab to ok and hit enter.
Now you can hold down shift and hit space bar and the sound will loop seven
times.

Hi Austin,
You misunderstood what the Topspeed manual was saying. In effect what
the manual was saying is that sounds are intended to be looped so make
sure you have a sound effect that can loop cleanly. This isn't
something you can do in Soundforge, Goldwave, etc since Topspeed
itself will do the looping. Just make sure the sound does not have any
trailing silence or ending silence which will cause the sound to fade
in and out etc. Hope this makes sense.
